Sharing the good news...

  Did you know that we are all born into a perch in the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, a perch that demands that you figure out life for yourself and always be right?  Jesus sets us free to take up residence in the Tree of Life, a perch where we can rest in the assurance that God has it all worked out. So why do we still drift back into depending on our own powers of evaluation and observation instead of trusting the voice of God? Adam and Eve missed it in the Garden of Eden --- only one rule and they couldn't keep it! How do we resist eating from that tree that caused their downfall? This is the second in Gloria's series on discipleship, but each video stands alone.  

 Terah, father of Abram (Abraham) sets out on a long journey for Canaan. He makes it only half way to Haran, stopped perhaps by personal tragedy. But then Abram picks up and completes the journey to Canaan. Don't get mired in the mud of tragedy. Make the journey!
